An ASTM A335 specified Alloy steel pipe is often referred to as a chrome moly pipe, due to the chemistry of these pipes including both chromium and molybdenum in its alloy. Typically speaking these pipes are utilized across various industries that range from chemical plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants to industries such as sugar mills as well as the pulp and paper industry.  Because of the many beneficial characteristics offered by the alloy steel seamless pipe, many of our clients prefer using them.

For instance, the addition of chromium as an alloying material in these pipes improves their resistance to oxidation corrosion forming a passivated oxide layer on the surface of these pipes. On the other hand, the addition of molybdenum in the alloy used to manufacture these pipes, increases their creep strength, even when used in those applications which have an elevated temperature setting.

Additionally, the Alloy steel pipe that is produced in our factory have a longer service life and are known to be durable while having an admirable performance, especially in corrosive environments as well.
